The Sri Sri Institute of Agricultural Sciences & Technology Trust is established by H. H. Sri Sri Ravishankarji with the main objective to provide opportunities in education, research and extension in different branches of Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, Home Sciences, Forestry, Co-operation and Agribusiness and other allied fields.  The agriculture profession is mainly managed by small farmers, who do not possess adequate knowledge of management of Agri-produce. Due to improper management of Agri-produce at various levels the agriculture sector is lagging behind. The challenges & opportunities in this area are enormous. Main objective of the programme is to impart structured management skills to the new generation of students. In fulfillment of its mandate Sri Sri Agribusiness Academy (SSABA) is established in 2009. The Academy is offering two years post-graduate programme in Agribusiness Management.  The objective of programme is to develop effective leaders who will possess global perspective for rural development empowering them with critical management and entrepreneurial skills and enable them to own and/or manage agribusiness of international standards.

1. To educate and train students to become most competent agribusiness managers.
2. To develop entrepreneurial spirit, skills and competence along with ethical value system.

After having undergone the PG programme, graduates would be able to work in the following fields:

Any graduate from Indian and Foreign universities with 50% marks are eligible to apply. Candidates appearing for final exams can also apply.

Application form and Brochure for admission to the Post Graduate Programme can be downloaded from the SSIAST Trust website www.ssiast.org. and printed on A4 size paper. Duly filled in application form may be submitted to Sri Sri Agri Business Academy, 21st Km, Kanakpura Road, Udaypura post, Bangalore 560 082 along with processing fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only), by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the “SSIAST Trust” payable at Bangalore. No other mode of payment will be accepted under any circumstances.

A. Entrance Test is compulsory, test will be for 100 marks consisting of General Knowledge, Quantitative ability, English Language and Logical reasoning. However, CAT/MAT/XAT passed students are exempt from Entrance Test

B. Non-agriculture graduates should pass Sri Sri Agribusiness Academy- Agriculture Proficiency Test in addition to the mandatory Entrance Test on the same day

C. Candidate with relevant work experience will be given preference

D. Final Admission will be based on the performance in the Entrance test, Group discussion, Personal Interview and marks obtained in the final degree examination

The programme will commence first Monday in first week of August, 2011. Any decision taken by the academy on admission, commencement, number of seats and related matters from time to time shall be final.
